Inner Peace : Discovering the Hidden Treasure in You

“Do not let the behaviour of others destroy your inner peace.” —Dalai Lama

What is inner peace?

Inner Peace is a state of being mentally or spiritually at peace. It is not dependent on outer circumstances, it arises from within. It is an option, and many of your habits determine how much peace you experience in your daily life.

A sea without waves:

In this contemporary realm perhaps the source of knowledge is readily available, but something that cannot be made or attained by the technologies also exists. This is not about how you look like or what you do. To be precise this is nothing to do with physical but solely about the inner self. Reading this article also requires a prerequisite that you should possess an inner peace, because we are stressed out when we lack inner peace and cannot do any kind of stuff. Acquiring that feeling in this surrounding is a challenging one and that’s what we are going to deal with in this article. So, feel a sea without the waves inside you and get ready to know about inner peace.

What is inner peace?

Inner Peace is a state of being mentally or spiritually at peace. It is not dependent on outer circumstances, it arises from within. It is an option, and many of your habits determine how much peace you experience in your daily life. When I told you that it is a feeling that arises within you, some may that it as happiness but they are different.

Happiness vs peace:

Happiness is temporary and is dependent on external motivations, whereas peace is more a lasting state of mind. Happiness will be addictive and when you are extremely happy, you can sense the excitement within you but this can’t be felt during the state of peace. Make it easier when you get into an amusement park you’ll be excited and this feel is happiness. When you get into a hot spring you have a feeling of relaxation and calmness around you this is what we call it as peace.

What makes it valuable?

It is a state of emotional and hope and inner strength. This state of mind is important not only while things are good around you but especially, in times of pain, difficulties or risk. Because it eliminates anxieties, fears. I’m listing a few facts on why this is so much valued,

1) It will help you to be focussed on what you do and attractions will be minimised.

2) You’ll be a person with high Self-esteem, who does not bother what people think and give importance to their own thoughts.

3) It increases creativity the ability to solve problems and brings forward a positive attitude toward life.

Let us also discuss the disturbing factors of this inner peace.

Obstacles to inner peace:

Inner conflicts are the primary reason that retard us from attaining inner peace. These conflicts may be due to the subsequent problems,

I’m not going to explain the hardships in possessing these behaviours because we are here to get rid of those and keep on speaking the effects of our behaviours may sometimes worsen the case. If you are a person having those difficulties never keep feeling for it.

being weak is not a mistake, but staying weak is ” – this is the dialogue of an anime which inspired me a lot.

“If you are depressed you are living in the past if you are anxious you are living in the future, if you are at peace, you are living in the present.” —Lao Tzu   Come on, let us travel towards peace.

Pathway to inner peace :

Here I’ve given you a number of paths towards the state of being calm or peace. Every one of us is unique and that’s why I gave several paths that could be useful to substantial readers. Here are the ways,

* Spend time with nature:

A feel at the still environment which is barely occupied by people and substantially by birds and trees cannot be felt at any moments of your achievements. That sounds of nature is a cure to the person who possesses a disturbed mind. Literally, this will be more effective than meditation. Talking about the meditation, you should make it as your daily routine in order to keep yourself calm and composed. This will help you to unleash your full potential.

* Smile and make others do the same

I’ve personally tried this and that helped me out of stressful circumstances. Just try to relax at times of difficulties that make your mind sharper to get rid of it. Spending time with a kid and making it laugh will lift your inner strength bigger and feel comfortable.

* Set your limits:

Think and find which things are within your control and do it. So, you will be out of feeling low. This situation of petty feeling can be prevented if you are aware of your boundaries and try not to exceed it.

* Avoid Overthinking:

Thinking a lot about a particular topic put us into deep stress. So, try to switch the topic by replacing it with others. Often overthinking leads to mental disorders and an unhealthy atmosphere, avoiding it will make you free from stress.

* learn to ignore:

  Ignoring doesn’t mean don’t face any problems, it means don’t struggle to solve it when it is beyond your control. Climbing all mountains on your way sometimes be just a time waste, sometimes move around it to be an effective person.

* Do good deeds:

When you do good acts you’ll be aware that others too struggle with their problems and you are not the only one who has difficulty. Moreover, this gives you satisfaction which makes you feel better at your complications.

* Think of your passion:

This will help you to feel comfortable and relaxes your mind. This will give you the endurance to face the troubles in your life.

If you are not curious in following these measures then you better eat properly and be true to yourself. There’s no need to please other people. Seize control of your life and live it as you wish. Stop running after things that the world has assumed to be significant and keep chasing the thing which you think valuable. Live life peacefully by discovering the treasure in you, inner peace.
