How Does OCD Affect Life Quality
I know about my fault and I am sorry about that but I can’t stop my actions

What is OCD
It is a mental disorder in which a person feels the need to performs a certain thought repeatedly. The person is unable t control either the thought or the activities for more than a short period of time.
Type of OCD people have
People suffer from a different type of OCD. It, not just the same as shown as Bollywood or in various web series. The types are:-
- Checking
- Contamination
- Mental contamination
- Hoarding
- Ruminations
- Intrusive thoughts
- Symmetry and orderliness
Checking
In this people suffers from a content habit of checking various things they have done. It includes checking that several times and the creation so much anxiety leading severe panic attacks.
This also leads to damaging objects that are constantly being pulled and provide or over tightened.
Some of the examples are:-
- Water taps
- Car knobs, email or letter
- Checking for camera
- The person with OCD will often check their own memory to try and recall past events for reassurance they did not cause harm to a loved one or child or even a stranger.
Contamination
People have a constant fear of being dirty. They think the contamination may cause harm to oneself or someone you loves. They common compulsion be washed and be clean.
One of their dangerous once is related to sex because they do not like or are afraid of masturbating as it leads to the flow of bodily fluids leads to avoidance of intimacy and sexual acts.
Some people have difficulty in getting out of their house as they may fear getting contaminated just being outside in the air.
So they rush to whenever they come from outside.
Mental contamination
It is the feeling of mental contamination share some qualities with contact contamination but has some distinctive features.
It is aroused by
- Treated badly physically or mentally
- Critically or verbally abusive remark
Hoarding
It means collecting too many things like clothes, toilet paper etc. These are people who are always having fear, they something shortage or what if the stock does out. How will like without this product?
Rumination
It means all obsessional intrusive thoughts that are deep in consideration about something. It can also be said by DMX-5, a train of prolonged thinking about questions or them that is undirected are indulged rather them resisted.
Examples- someone ruminated what will happen death and by this make various possibilities and end up creating dangerous possibilities and end up creating dangerous possibilities and cannot stop thinking.
Intrusive thoughts
In this person suffers from obsessional thought that is disturbing and often horrific and is vague.
Example- thought of causing violets to love one’s and which do not involve specific immediate compulsion.
It has subcategories are:-
- Relationship intrusive thoughts
- Violet thoughts
- Body focused obsession
- Sexual thoughts
- Magical thinking thought
- Symmetry and orderliness
They have a fear that everything should be in a line and particular. In symmetry should do work with both parts to maintain their bodies alignment.
It has examples are:-
- Neatness
- Pictures
- Tinned cars
- Clothes
- Books and cd’s
Those just types of OCD that people suffer but it a lot more difficult for someone to work in their personal lives.
Difficulties OCD Sufferers face are:-
Daily work
People OCD has a great tendency of either repetition or excessive cleaning that effect all the work that they do in their life. If someone has to close the door an OCD person has a habit of closing door 3 times that will take more time for just one work. It becomes impossible to complete their tasks on time due to this only.
No one understands
Many just underestimate and gave thin tags like to much onto cleanliness or just simply annoying. This makes more disheartened and tries to not do that again gain end up harming themselves or in a stage of severe anxiety issues.
Regular fear
OCD people have a constant fear of various thing they have in type like hoarding, contaminated, mental contamination, checking, etc. They fear that if they do not do that particular action they scare that they die or something will happen to them.
Serious health issues
OCD leads to having bath like too much hand washing lead to drying out skin and end result in becoming serious words on their hand.
Suicidal thoughts and behaviours
Due uncontrollability of that particular behaviour these people tend decreasing motivation to do work. It leads to decreasing social abilities and often ending up in isolating themselves. This led to the arrival of suicidal thoughts and behaviours.
Troubled relationship
People having OCD are different to live with as they do not someone to interfere in their lives. This lead to a troubled relationship ending up their marriage or breaking up with marriage or breaking up with loved ones.
Famous people struggling with OCD
These stars also struggle with OCD and had a deal in their daily life then also performs in there and best way possible.
David Beckham
He is one of the best footballers and was in playing under the U.K. he also has OCD about everything should be in a straight line .if he does not nd out that he freaks out badly.
Katy Perry
She is one famous singer who sung songs like fireworks and many other famous songs. She is also a songwriter too. She is a germophobe and wants to put everything in alphabetical order. She often gets panic attacks if she founds any dust or something dirty.
Vidya Balan
She is Bollywood famous actress and known for her great acting skills. She has done films like Kahani, but bhuliya and many more. She is obsessed with cleaning and starts to begin cleaning where ever she sees a spot.
Farhan Akhtar
He is also a famous Bollywood star. He is a multi-start Means a singer, writer and a great actor. He is a multi-start should be in places properly. He cannot work in c concentration if anything is out of order.
Conclusion
It is difficult to live life like this where we are having anxiety about almost each and everything. If this goes beyond your hand please consult is a psychologist so that you can control it live your life freely.
