Body image depression

Hello guys…this is Riswana…in this lockdown period many of us suffer to weight gain problem…most of us told I gained more weight in this Covid-19 lockdown period in my normal life schedule I am slim and attractive but after lockdown I became ugly and big body size…””Depression and/or body image issues can begin in adolescence in response to the body changing and developing for the first time. There is a heightened attention and critical appraisal of the body, coupled with a greater vulnerability for emotional distress due to a flux of hormones and new feelings. It is important to combat negative body image because it can lead to depression, shyness, social anxiety and self-consciousness in intimate relationships. Negative body image may also lead to an eating disorder.””

I share my experience…..In one week ago…my friend came to my house she is unhappy in past she is very attitude and talkative girl but this time I noticed she feel very shy and didn’t mingle with us…in between she got married she had one beautiful baby girl…I check his mobile and go through her gallery…I saw one video and I get shocked her husband and her baby took videos and images but she hide herself and didn’t give pose..I ask to her  why your activities are so different why u do like this… suddenly she cried she told me…. before marriage her husband loved her soo much she is in slim…after marriage and after delivery be become fatty women but also she looks like cute bubbly girl but her negative thoughts confused her mind….when u become fatty all of us hate u….u because ugly like panda etc etc….in this situation she didn’t ate anything she doing exercises diet etc but it doesn’t give any results her sisters are whisper about her body shape she noticed all kinds of activities and she being eating disorder…it’s not good for our health every one has his/her problem we must just over come from it..

*Just do what you want don’t hear any other voices be yourself be good and healthy…. spread postive vibes*

Love how the way you brought out real life examples. Well written but bringing out more details regarding body image depression, it’s causes and effects on one’s life along with how it can be overcome would be of great help.
Overall, I really appreciate your work!

I liked how you included personal experiences, and the very valid issue of people developing body image issues during this time – writing more about fatphobia, body shaming and how to deal with body image issues could have made this even better though! Emphasis on all bodies are good bodies 🙂

I really appreciate your work. You presented your article with those examples which we see in our day to day life. Try to elaborate it more. All the best.

Sharing your personal experience can be really daunting, and I commend you for being so brave. The personal touch in your writing style really adds weight to your message. Body image is a sensitive topic that affects millions of people, especially in a world like today’s where everyone aspires to be Instagram-perfect. Grammatical errors can be avoided. Otherwise, good job!

Hey Riswana!
I read your piece and trust me it was quite motivating. I myself have faced several body image issues in the past.
The only suggestions I would like to give is that you need to make less grammatical errors and sentence formation needs a little more attention.
You should also add some more methods of how can people overcome this issue.

The article was conveyed in simple language and it was easy to understand . The article conveyed the importance of body image and how it can cause damage to oneself and his mental health. The article can include more points on how to love oneself and give more tips and sayings which can motivate people who read it . It was wonderful and the experience you shared . Keep up with the good work
Good luck !!

The article felt a little informal. But i liked that you shared your own personal experience to relate with the audience better. I would appreciate if instead of using he/she you could use they, it makes your article reach people of all genders and orientations and not just the binary.
