IT NEEDS TO STOP – RAPE

IT NEEDS TO STOP – RAPE

The chicken tried to flatter from the site, in a hope he doesn’t get cooked, with all his might he tried escaping but he wasn’t able to, just like I tried to flatter away as he dragged me into those woods like a dead body, a slave tied to his master, even the slave was treated better than I was.

You know the difference between me and that chicken was, I actually had the ability to speak, shout, to plead before him, unlike that chicken who had no voice of his own.

You know the ambrosial aroma of the food attracts people to it, but the smell of women’s perfume attracted him towards me, as they lashed off on their food he thrashed on me. As they cut through the flesh of the chicken to get a bite, he ripped off my clothes to get a taste of me.

As the crunching of that chicken made a sound, the bones cracking inside me crunched, they savoured the taste of the food, he savoured my body on his mouth.

I pleaded to him as if a sinner pleading to his god to forgive him,  even god would have been merciful to let that culprit go but he was the devil masked as a man.

As his fingers ran a scan over my body, it made me cut off my own body and threw it to the wolves, I cried for help but it was as if a six-year-old me was locked in the bathroom by my mother, where even the heard screams were unheard.

My father always wanted a son but still while I was born he nurtured me, loved me with all his might but as I lie on this grass my soul taken away from me I wished that I could be converted into a son at least then I wouldn’t be going through so much misery.

They had always glorified me for my beauty and for my strength, and I how strong  I was but that day all my beauty was tarnished by him, he didn’t care about how beautiful my face was but how curvy or sexy my body was, that day, that night a population of billions couldn’t hear my cry for help.

He ripped out my soul and body apart, the pink tints on my cheeks were turned into the red blood, the groomed hands were turned into a hand of some ghost, the flesh of my body dangled out from every part of my body and face.

As I breathed my last air, I looked up into the skies I could see the faces, the agony of every child, every girl every raped among those stars, I had always been fascinated my stars, so I smiled I would be a part of the star family.

As the last drop of pearl struggled to fall out my eye, I closed my eyes and prayed to god that I don’t get to experience anything like that up there, in my paradise, I prayed that nobody does candle marches for me or protests because god knows in that group of thousands how many rapes would be committed and finally my soul which struggled to leave finally left.

And with it, another goddess left this world……….

You know that night my Instagram was full with people of anger, showing there rage posting stories, commenting, candle marches and everything but suddenly after a few days as I open it again there’s not a hint of, as if people have just forgotten about it, dumped it somewhere and started on with their lives.

We talk about change but change isn’t going to happen just by posting stories one day and then acting like nothing happened the next day, if we can ask for justice for celebrities and have innocent go to jail then we can surely ask for justice and not only ask put demand it and see to it that it’s given.

We as a country come together whenever there is India vs Pakistan match, then why can’t we come together for something as heinous as this, it’s not only the time to change but to finally p0ut pressure on things and let it change. We need to ask for justice, we need to keep posting stories until and unless it’s served.

We the people are the power, we can change it and help this a safe place for our girls, women and for everybody out there. It’s time we educate our boys and make them understand the true meaning of “RAKSHA BANDHAN”.

“WE ARE THE GODDESS, AND LET’S COME TOGETHER AND PUT UP A TRISHUL IN EVERYBODY WHO EVEN TRIES TO TOUCH US AND MAKE US FALL OFF ON THE GROUND”.
