We often judge people in our life. We judge them on their behavior mostly how they behave with us. From childhood onwards, we are being told to achieve something in our life, we have to do hard-work and while doing everything possible to achieve it, we sometimes fails and figures that in some things we lacks and from there self doubting starts. We doubt ourselves, we try to compare ourselves with the people around us, we sometimes feels jealous about it but we do not show it infact we do not even trust ourselves and sometimes we are not honest with ourselves.
The fact we have to understand is that how much it is necessary for us to be true and honest to ourselves. We should not self doubt ourselves and compares it with others rather we should see where we lack and try to make improvements in it.
We always have heard and read about self motivation. We motivate ourselves to achieve our dreams as well as goals but when we fails we do not accept things around us and tries to find negativity in everything. Just like self motivation, Self acceptance is most thing important in our life.
One should try to accept himself/herself. Self acceptance teaches us so many things. It helps us to know our weaknesses and strengths. Self acceptance makes us to realise where we went wrong or where we lack in achieving our goal and then we should work on it.
This seems a questions to us that we should accept ourselves. ‘Do we really accept ourselves?’.
We only accepts good things about us, the one in which we are good at but what about the rest. We see how initially society used to not accept the LGBQT community not only society but their own parents used to not accept themselves and sometimes they themselves used to finds it difficult to accept but now everything has changed, everybody accepts them. Things are changing rapidly in today’s times.
Initially dark complexion people used to have problem to accept themselves because of this society who gives more preference to fair people but now everything has changed. People with dark complexion have excelled in every field and found progress.
We should accept ourselves the way we are and there is nothing wrong in that.
Every person is beautiful in its own way. We should not care about what others say about us instead we should focus on our life and on our goals and try to accept ourselves. Many people do not accept their mistakes in their life but this is wrong, we should accept our mistakes in life and should clear everything.
Some people finds difficult to forget their past and hurt themselves in their present life but we should understand that clinging on past life will not solve any problem instead it will ruin our present life. We should accept whatever mistakes we did in past ,we should learn from our past experiences and should not repeat the same mistakes in our present life. Mostly people suffer from breakup blame themselves for some reasons but we should forget and should not blame ourselves instead should accept the fact and should move on as their is big life waiting for us.
Self acceptance should be unconditional, it should not depends on any situation but we should accept ourselves in every situation.
Self acceptance is lightly relatable to self esteem although self esteem means how we feel about ourselves and how we can tackle difficulties in our life but self acceptance is completely accepting ourselves and admitting each and every fact about ourselves, acknowledging ourselves in a positive manner and working on it.
Studies says that low self acceptance causes mental illness but having high self acceptance boosts our confidence and we becomes self confident, high self acceptance acts as psychological therapy on a lower level which is good.
“Bala”, A Bollywood movie of 2019, shows that there is nothing wrong in accepting ourselves the way we are, where the protagonist has shown bald and he finds it difficult to deal with it but at the end the protagonist accepts himself the way he is and indeed he finds happiness in it. The movie tells us to accept ourselves in different ways.
Scoring high on self acceptance can helps us in many ways, one will definitely have a positive attitude. Accepting each positive and negative points of our life, Self acceptance does not make us confused about our life and it is not self critical. Self accepting ourselves also motivates us towards our career. Makes us confident and changes to positive outlook towards our life.
