1. Introduction

Hi!

Have you ever gone fishing? Or have you seen fishing?

Well, when we do fishing, we use something that can attract the fish to get hooked, right?

This is similar to our topic that we are going to talk.

2. Defining addiction.

Well, I understand this word as our habit inclusion of the use or the feelings of attachment to someone or something extremely like we cannot survive or we cannot live happily without it or them. Besides, if we addict to someone or something, and later we try to stop that condition, the withdrawal affects are followed to us. This is addiction.

And in English Cambridge Dictionary, the meaning is described as follows:

The need or strong desire to do or to have something, or a very strong liking for something:

Discussing why some people are brands addictive

Remember that not only to the brands but also to the medicine or drugs or actions can be addicted with or without your conscious.

Here in this article, we mainly focus on brand addiction and track the reasons of it as far as we could. So let’s see.

3. Feelings are good.

No wonder that people love to be on cloud nine. No wonder that people love to be comfortable. No wonder that people love to be impressive.

That’s why the brands can stand highly among us although they are pecuniary highly expensive and some are not eco-friendly.

To be addicted, the body must be introduced with that thing or drug or else for the first time giving the emotions of happiness. In other words, this is increasing the levels of dopamine in the brain.

As soon as the body takes note about it as the pleasant or be laughing condition, the body starts to addict it.

It could be a person, a thing or yes, a brand too.

Here both of us and almost everyone knows that brands are highly priced but some people are still trying to get the brands. And some even try to fulfill this desire in wrong ways or extremely.

So what else the reason why some people are brand addictive except the use of brands make them feel pleased or satisfied?

4. Technology and Marketing strategy

Yes, this plays an important role when we cannot leave behind to think for this topic.

No matter how great your products or brands are, it is difficult to be popular, to be sold massively without the use of the technology and marketing strategy. Thus, the businesses as well as the companies and all that are aimed to sell the products worldwide or highly use the updated technology, in addition to the better and better marketing strategy. Here the role of advertisements and the role of models comes up critically too. All of these results a part of the consumers’ interests and buying of the brands a lot.

5. Our Brain Response

There are five steps that our brain functions responses to the brands according to Chris Bolman, (https://blog.percolate.com/2014/12/neuromarketing-how-the-human-brain-experiences-your-brand/# )

  1. Visual capture and transmission
  2. Shape recognition
  3. Visual mapping
  4. Memory matching
  5. Enrichment

The popular brand images or advertisements can make the brain to see and accept with positive opinions. This leads the brands to be more and more popular.

At the first introduction, the brain tries to recognize the brand and if this make the dopamine level gets highs too, the brand would be memorized as the good or pleasant one. So this brand becomes can be easily addicted or wanted one after another as soon as the new product is available or just an advertisements of the same brand pops up to introduce.

6. Conclusion

We do not discuss that addiction to the brand is good or bad. However, now we know that our addiction to the brand is concerned with dopamine releases, the brain responses and the technology and marketing strategy of nowadays.
