I am Femitha Rachel, currently in my final year of MSc in Counselling Psychology. I have been stuck at home due to the ongoing pandemic for the past eight months, but things have been good. 🙂 I have got the opportunity to work with an amazing bunch of organisations and people. I shall be eternally grateful for that.

I am inclined towards Rogerian approach and the gestalt model of counselling. When I am not working, I enjoy interacting with my peers, reading fiction and spending time with my cats. There was a time in my life when I used to blog on a regular basis: I am into story writing as well. I also enjoy the feeling of having mud smeared across my finger creases while gardening. This is me. This is me in two paragraphs.

Hey Femitha! It was great to catch a glimpse of who you are just by reading two paragraphs. Counselling psychology is really a great line to choose from. I am in first year B.A. (H) Applied Psychology so I do not have a detailed idea as to what the Rogerian Approach is. But, I am familiar with Gestalt Psychology. It would be a learning experience to know more from you.

I like writing too. It became an everyday thing during the lockdown. It helped me process my thoughts and feelings better.

Also, I have a garden at home as well. It does feel great to have your fingers smeared with mud and your feet dipping in the lush lawns.

It was enriching to read your introduction.

Welcome and best wishes

Sneha
