To everyone who wants to study psychology I say just do it. You don’t have to do degrees in it but just learn some stuff it not only will help you but also your loved ones. Psychology has made me realize a lot of stuff and I learnt to love myself and others. I can say that my perspective is much broad now. Don’t expect to get answers from psychology you should find that in yourselves, but this will just aid in understanding people around you and yourself.

This field has lots of taboo and stigma to it. But things have changed. People can recognize the need for mental health cares. So, I say don’t give up and don’t be ashamed. Go for it.

I’m trying to pursue forensic psychology it is really a field that is less heard about, but I want to do so I go for it. Forensic psychologists are not psychics or sherlocks that can find the criminal with their intuitions or by just looking at the crime scene as portrayed in movies. We interview, test or counsel the victims, suspects or the witness and work for getting the truth. It is very scientific and not just some assumptions. Profilers are the ones that do profiling of the possible suspect to make it easy for the officers to catch the person who is guilty. Just how science is helping in catching the criminal’s psychology also helps in its own way.
