I always loved biographies.  Always thinking of scenarios of what will I do or how will I be projected in my own when I'm older. I had a habit of talking to myself playing a role in some story that I'm writing.  You know that storyteller kid.  People gave me strange stares.  They even called me mad.  I didn't care but it somehow stayed in my subconscious. At first I lost my dad.  I was still a kid then in the first few days of std 4. My studies shook for a while but then boom I was back to being the goody one.  I am dark skinned and had to deal with a lot of unwanted comments,  bullying and unpleasant incidents.  I still told myself Ish these are the events that'll make your biography awesome.  I was a chubby kid too so that added up.  My relatives were also playing mild crime petrol episodes after dad.  All this resulted in a clinically depressed kid. With no awareness at that time about mental health people and I myself started believing that I'm mad.  But with my mom's support and that zeal from within I slowly started recovering.  I won't say it's completely gone but now it resurfaces on triggers but now i do know what to do.  I still talk to myself playing roles of some story that I'm writing but now subconsciously I believe it's my art not some insane act.  And I still believe all that has happened,  is happening and will happen are events for my awesome biography.

Thank you for reading.  I love you.  Love yourself too. 💐❤️

More power to you girl! Therapy is more of a journey than a destination because you need to consistently apply the changes to your life. One day things will get better. There will be both good days and bad days for this is life, but therapy will equip you with skills to deal with both.

Hey, friend! How are you? You must have had a hard time through that. Let me send you virtual hugs.

At the same time I felt immensely nice while reading this because this is exactly how I am too. I am just too fascinated by the idea of having a biography about me and I too play my life as if it already has an audience. This gives your normal life extra spark, won't you agree?

Healing takes time and patience and love and support. I hope you are able to give yourself all that. It must have taken courage to own it and be able to tell the story to a group of complete strangers. All the best for your future 🙂

Yes we’ll lemme hype you up ! Prolly universe wanted me to read this .😂😊🧚🏻‍♀️ How about I give you your first introduction and launch 🚀 in storytelling . So I’m doing this series called “story time “ on my social welfare social media project where I post stories of teenagers and lessons they have learnt from their experiences , and how they inspire others . First of I loved the little para you wrote I’d love to share that in itself but well I’m sure you might have a truck load of stories to choose from ...so let’s work on not a biography but a selfwritten story time . looking forward to a fruitful work association.

Hey Ishita, I find the events in your life very inspiring. Loosing one's dad at such a young age is one hell of a shock and it's heartening to know that you overcame it. I myself am dark skinned so I can understand what it is like to feel when being made fun of, but then again as you said, your sheer zeal and the support of your mother is what you have with you which cannot be taken away anyhow, which I think is very comforting and inspiring.

I too talk to myself most of the times and i would feel very privilaged if I can offer you my friendship 🙂

@vishal This brought a smile.  Thank you so much it's really sweet of you.  I'm glad to know you.

And I really don't understand the fuss about the colour of our skins.  It's just a little extra  melanin,  a damn pigment. Come on man we are beautiful.  It took me so much efforts to get the stigma out.  You are amazing ok.

So friends. 🤝

All the best.

Love.  God bless ya. ❤️🌻💛
