Hello everyone

I am Aanchal Sharma. I am doing my graduation in economics.

I had three favorite subject that i wanted to study more i.e, chemistry ( I really liked chemistry. I feel like chemistry connects all other science subjects to each other) , psychology ( though i never studied psycology properly but i always wanted to) and economics.

But i had to choose one among these three.

As we know, we have to give something up to get something.

But the main thing is how i decided to choose economics?

I ask myself a question that  by what profession i want to be known or remember as?

I got my answer - As an economist.

I don't know that i would really become successful economist or not or i have that capability or not but that doesn't mean i quit studying and learning about what i really wanted to learn.

I wanted to learn more about psycology that's why i am here doing this internship.

Those who want to pursue their career in economics go ahead.

Students who choose to study economics not only gain the skills needed to understand the complex market, but come away with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

I suggest you all to take your time and choose your career path wisely.

All the best everyone😊

Hey! It was a nice story; quite helpful for those who might be facing some conflict in choosing their subjects. We cannot get everything always and we have to prioritize. Let's all just choose to do what makes us happy and the world will become a better place 🙂

Fun fact, economics is also a behavioral science. Namely, behavioral economics. It is a fascinating subject and maybe "predictably Irrational" by Dan Ariely will give you a good introduction to it. More power to you!

Hi anchal, nice to hear your part of story. You are right we must take time to choose what to do , rushing up is not always a right option.

All the best for whatever you do
