Hello guys. So firstly a little warning sign I talk a lot so this must be a little big.

Starting about my journey, choosing psychology was never difficult for me. After 10th board exams It just came to my mind that I had to have psychology no matter what. it just came to me out of no where. Maybe just the universe sending me signals I thought. I went ahead and opted for commerce with psychology because I wasn't so sure about taking psychology is my undergrad. Ik its a weird combination to opt for (everyone has judged me on it already but I never dropped my decision :p). As I started learning about the subject, I felt deeply into it. It's so so interesting to know why is someone acting a particular way? or why does our brain work a particular way ? or maybe how surroundings effect the behaviour. All of this was so exciting for me. Taking psychology I got to know a lot about myself also. I developed an insight and I got to know that I have always had a soft spot for people suffering. I knew that I have to help them no matter what. And to get the best college I had to score good to get into Delhi University because it provides the best psychology honours course in our country and I did. I worked hard in my 12th. Reached to my full potential and scored good. Currently I am in first year pursuing BA psychology honours from IPCW. I have always had support of my family and I am always grateful for what I have.

If any of you is confused why psychology? I would say a simple thing it really helps knowing yourself and others better. it helps us to deal with our issues in a very better way. There is a lot of scope for psychology In future and right now also. You get to help people, understand them, and develop an insight about yourself. Go for it guys. It's a beautiful journey. YES, all journeys have ups and Downs. BUT hold on to the ups and walk on the right path.

If u want to know anything about the subject, hit me up. I will be more than happy to help.

Take care. 😀

I am glad to be sharing the same platform with you and I hope to learn and experience more with you in this internship.

Hey, its so nice to hear that you intuitively got drawn to the subject, and honestly same. I took up the subject in 11th and 12th with almost no prior knowledge but a weirdly high amount of confidence (along with other subjects) and I've been so glad that the decision paid off. The fact that you're currently doing a psychology honours course is so cool! do you guys simultaneously learn different fields in psychology every semester? I'm doing a triple degree so our time is split between psychology, media communication and english, so I'm assuming it won't be as exhaustive as being able to completely focus on the subject

Congratulations on getting into IPCW! My case was similar to yours in that I was sure I had to take psychology in eleventh. It's a great subject and you're gonna love it. Have you decided in which branch of psychology would you be interested in pursuing further studies?
