Learning Disorder

The term “Learning Disorder” (LD) is a deficiency in processing information preventing a person from learning effectively and they’re termed as a backward child. They suffer from inferiority complex and a disturbed state of mind affecting their self esteem and severe downfall in motivation.

A person having learning disorder suffers from difficulty in reading, writing, mathematics, listening, speaking, etc. It generally appears as a gap between expected academic skills based on age and the actual performance.

Many people tends to mislead by poviding wrong information regarding learning disorder.

Let’s talk about what a learning disorder is not:

  • An intellectual disability.
  • Hearing problems.
  • Sight or vision problems.
  • Emotional vulnerability or behavioural complexity.
  • Attention Deficit Disorder ( ADHD or ADD).
  • Autism.

Learning disorder isn’t curable but better practice can help the person suffering from it. Many people learn to improve their conditioning for learning differences as they grow up but it can continue throughout a person’s life.
