My journey: from literature to psychology

My passion for writing and literature led me to selecting humanities after 10th, and that's when I was first properly introduced to psychology. I had always thought it to be interesting from what I knew about it but I never seriously thought about it as my career. However those couple of years studying it, I realized this could actually be something I might want to pursue in the future. Through the years (i'm currently in TY) writing become secondary for me and psychology my first priority. I do not feel strongly about many things, but I've found my passion in psychology. I'm still not entirely sure about which field in particular, but I am inclined towards clinical or child psychology.

Thank you for reading so far, good day to you all!

hey there, thanks for sharing. i could say im a transfer from literature to psychology aswell. ive always thought id end up being an English tearcher because the what i read in school really moved me. but its in college i realized that taking literature as my career would just not give the same joy as following psychology and neither am i fully sure whats my thing in this field but im happy here i am. your story reminded me of mine and put a simle on my face. much love. all the best.

Heyy,

This story of yours feels like such a sweet and cute short fairytale. You just gotta do what you wanted to. And if you are confused between clinical and child psychology he must go through Aptitude Test. Maybe, that could help you in getting perferct solution. Anyway I just hooe your confusion gets cleadrer.

Keep going.

Take care!! 🤗

Child and clinical psychology both are good fields with greater scope. All the best for your future.

I am glad to hear that you are balancing out the things. It's completely understandable that you are not clear about what specialization you want to do. It will all happen with the time. All the best till then and take care. 🙂
