Hey guys, I'll jump straight to the main points.

1) Why select psychology?

Psychology is a broad field, people assume that they'll take it only because it's easy. That's true, the syllabus may be comparatively easy but don't let it fool you because you need to apply all of this effectively in field.

It isn't only superficially about 'what people think and how they behave' , but the APA Diagnostic Manuel (DSM-V) that enlists all the disorders will take you through what you may be analysing.

2. What bachelors in psychology should I take?

To my knowledge B. SC, (hons) is always preferred when applying for colleges for masters abroad. Also, there are colleges that have specialisations right from the bachelors degree.

...Tip. A) For an idea of what it must be being a psychologist (etc) I suggest you to volunteer at clinic, ngo or any org that allows you to.

B) After applying for your degree, no matter how much colleges stress on Internship, it is never enough. Get as much on-field experience in different areas as possible. In addition, gain certificates from courses (most are found online).

3. Am I fit for it?

- Before deciding on psychology, make sure you explore related fields and beyond. Because if you change your mind after b.a there are limited paths for you to take.

- If you think you have the passion to help others and get the best results in what you do then go for it.

-if you have issues with performance or social anxiety, with communication issues then it's going to be tough but if you dedicate your self to improve with therapies or self help classes then you're good to go.

If you guys have any questions, do ask..

All the best!
