THE THING

There’s a tiny bump on neck
Oh my gosh what the heck
I have to get rid of it
Either I’ll pay for it
Nothing’s works and it got worse
Everyone is asking it at work
I’m the victim I’m the culprit
I can’t spell these words
But that’s the truth I deserve
Trying everything to remove it
Crying in mirror and view it
Sad frustrated I screamed
I’m who created it’
That lady see me all-day doing it
A night she asked “what happened tell me about it”
I refuse, but she got everything by looking at it
“If it came by itself , it’ll go by itself
Giving it time and being unaffected by it
That’s all it asks for, in the process of healing it”
She said and left, I stayed consuming these words all of it
Morning arises so am I
Dusting guilt and anger with smile
Calm , confident I shout so loud
‘I got this’
Now I know how to let it out!! – Sanjivani mundhe
