The life we live now is a gift for us. Everyone deserves a happy life to lead. We are here in this universe to see hear and feel the beautiful world around us. All of us face many adventures in life. Each one of us experiences different problems in a different situation in our life. Every one of us is unique and beautiful in their way. Life is an unbiased one where we have good and bad, success and failure, happy and sad. But remember one thing everything we face is not permanent. Changes take place in everybody life, we each one differs in how we face the challenges and changes that happen in our life.

Life is a beautiful thing that must enjoy the experience and experiment with new things. But many among us do know how to enjoy and tackle the situation in life. They get stuck into problems where they are not able to overcome that situation. In those times they feel of depression, anxiety and they feel mentally stress. Due to overstress and depression they feel of quitting life and lead to suicide

Suicide is an act of causing intentionally one’s own death.

 


INCREASED RATE OF SUICIDE AMONG COLLEGE STUDENTS:

Nowadays suicide is increased among college students. Due to their surroundings, family situation, peer pressure, and future thoughts many students attempt suicide. College stage is where students experience new things in life. In this stage, the students must be physically and mentally strong. In this stage, they face many changes in life. They face many temporary problems and they have many unstable thoughts. Even the hormonal imbalance will be unstable due to this they attract to the opposite gender and may lead to love. It may be infatuation for some people but rarely a true love. Some students face career pressure where they are not interested in the course they took or the exam pressure. It is not the one particular thing that leads a student to suicide they are many reasons.

 


WHY IS SUICIDE CASE INCREASE SO RAPIDLY?

Yes, nowadays suicide is increasing so rapidly because everyone is taking care of their mental health.

A good healthy body not only consists of good physical health it also comprises mental health also.

We go to the hospital when we are sick and we take medicine to cure it.

But u feel mentally low or your self-esteem gets low you don’t care it as much.

This leads to the starting problem of depression, anxiety and stress which leads to stress-related disorder and attempt the suicide.

Due to technology development there, is a lack of communication between people.

Nowadays everybody is busy with their own works so that communication among family member is also decreasing.

More the technology had developed, mobile had been a part of our life.

So that there is no face to face communication and interaction between family members and friends.

The trend today follow is expressing our sadness and reactions to WhatsApp status, Instagram stories and tweets.

So that we forgot what is the real meaning of expressing our moods.

When you feel happy you upload a status, when you feel sad you upload a status.

So that you only share those things to show that you are happy not that you are really happy or not.

Whatever you chat through WhatsApp will not be equal to sharing your feelings by seeing your friends face.

Even though you chat face to face conversation will not equal to it.

Even though we have many friend and loveable family we sometimes feel shy to share the thoughts and feelings of us.

When there is a lack in communication we automatically start to dump all our feeling sorrows into our mind, that causes depression loneliness stress and lead to suicidal attempts.

People who attempt suicide have various reason to end up their life.

It’s not like students, people with job insecurities, family problems, fear of meeting up family expectation, love failure, parents pressure, everything that they feel that they are not able to handle the situation and move on to next part of life.

There is a misunderstanding that people who are weak and people who are discouraged attempt suicide.

But it is not like that people who attempt suicide have the courage of ending up their life on their own.

They feel that life is that’s all and they are not able to survive hereafter.

People who attempt suicide are not able to accept their failures in their life.

First, we have to understand one thing life is a mixture of both success and failures.

We celebrate our success in the same way we have to accept the failure, experience it and move on.

As we all heard FAILURE IS THE STEPPING STONE OF SUCCESS.

All the failures we face help us to learn and experience new things.

We may have a target of one goal or aim which does not succeed.

But remember that we have another special destiny to reach.

Every failure teaches you sculpts you to make a step on next.

It makes you stronger and wisdom for your success.

We all have to develop the quality of celebrating failures as we celebrate for success.

Remember one thing every failure teaches a lesson which helps you to make a stronger move for your success.

SO CELEBRATE FAILURES AS YOU CELEBRATE SUCCESS.

 


ROLE OF MENTAL ILLNESS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUICIDAL BEHAVIOUR:

Suicidal attempt being common nowadays. Everybody does not take care of their mental health as physical health. Suicidal thoughts occur because of an increase in stress, depression and anxiety. Even people with mental disorders also have suicidal thoughts. All of us should take care of our mental health. It is very important to take care of our mental health. Be free and share your feelings with others. Never dump your thoughts and feelings within yourself. Consult a psychologist when you have a feel of suicidal thoughts. Talk to your parents and sort out things if not consult a psychologist, they may help you to come off stress and depression-related problems. A psychologist plays a major role in suicidal behaviour and suicidal thoughts.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES:

Understand your family members when they are stressed or depressed.

Don’t make fun of them when they share their feelings and problems.

If you feel that your friends or family is too depressed immediately take them to a psychologist.

Never leave your friends or family members alone when they are stress or depressed.

Motivate them and spread positive vibes to them.

Take them beach park or place that communicates with nature tell them and make them feel how beautiful is this life.

Questions you can ask:

“When did you begin feeling like this?”

“Did something happen to make you start feeling this way?”

“How can I best support you right now?”

“Have you thought about getting help?”

What you can say that helps:

“You are not alone in this. I’m here for you.”

“You may not believe it now, but the way you’re feeling will change.”

“I may not be able to understand exactly how you feel, but I care about you and want to help.”

“When you want to give up, tell yourself you will hold off for just one more day, hour, minute—whatever you can manage.”

 


CONCLUSION:

Suicide is not the only solutions for all your problem.

Every problem we face has a solution in it. Try to accept failures and move on.

NEVER MAKE PERMANENT DECISION FOR TEMPORARY FEELING OR PROBLEM.

You are unique in your own way. Every one of us will be a success one day but all matters that how you accept your failure and move on.
