Schizoaffective Disorder

“Don’t give in to stigma, a diagnosis does not determine who you are or what you can do”. You all would be much aware of this beautiful saying. Your ailment doesn’t define you nor it defines your wide possibilities.

Just like the sea that flows on despite of all the rocks, pebbles coming in its way you should be unstoppable. The term “Mental health” was coined by the greatest philosopher Plato who simplified it as a term that describes the state when your own temper rules your passion.

Mental health disorder basically delves deeper as it is what happens when the core the main controller of your being gets corrupted and the fluctuations increase on a faster rate. One of these is Schizoaffective disorder.

What is Schizoaffective Disorder? What are types of Schizoaffective disorder?

Schizoaffective Disorder is a psychiatric condition and it even includes the symptoms of schizophrenia. It is like an umbrella like illness that includes the symptoms of hallucinations, delusions, bizarre or unusual behavior, poor appetite,  less interest in socializing and even mood disorder symptoms like mania and depression as they vary  from person to person.

When you are unable to see the reality that you are exposed too as you are hallucinating too much. When you feel like you are seeing things that aren’t there but you are unable to tell about this state of yours to anybody even our near and dear ones as the replies you get in the end are “Think of your family,  people will think you are crazy and you won’t get a job”.

Such replies stop you from telling others about the outbursts of your own emotions. When you feel you are in a state where you are losing  friends, opportunities and  most of all time of your life. World isn’t the same for you anymore.

The whole world blames you as if you are the one who had been brought up by this disease.  Most people suffering from this disorder who feel locked up by their own outbursts of emotions give up their own life by attempting suicide as they feel they aren’t worthy enough to live.

The two types of this disorder includes bipolar disorder and depression. When you feel like applying some magical mantra to lead a happy life. Bipolar disorder is the state of two extremities where at one point you are happy like a clown and on the other you are depressed, lonely as if you are confined in your own shell.

How one develops this disorder? How one can deal with it?

A person can A person can develop this disorder genetically as one can inherit this disease from any family member, the external environment and even through exposure to viruses or toxins while one is in the womb. People suffering from schizoaffective disorder should firstly accept themselves as they are and then consult a doctor.

As they need to open to their own selves before opening up to the people around them. Self-awareness matters more. Don’t let anyone tell you that you cannot have a mental illness. You are strong, brave and a warrior. Be open about your own emotions let the other people pretend and have their own assumptions.

Talk to people who are having this same disorder so that even they know they have someone. Set an example for the other people by raising awareness about this disorder. Suffering from any sort of mental issue doesn’t make you alike or a monster.

You are blessed to help others and serve the society in the way others aren’t. Make full use of this opportunity and make your life a better place to live in. Don’t lose hope ever you have no idea what life has planned for you.

Believe in your inhibitions. One percent of entire world’s  population suffer from this disease. Psychotherapy, Psycho education and counseling are the best remedies for this disorder. No disorder can stop you from achieving what you want.

Don’t lose hope ever. Move in your face of goals. The path is difficult but you will overcome it. We are never aware of the fact that where our life will take us but we can withstand all the storms with grit and determination.

Meditate everyday try to restore your energy and you will realize there is more to this world other than rat race in which we all are running. Keep a check on your thoughts and don’t allow the negativity to stop you. You are the only captain of this life of yours.

Give the right commands to your subconscious who does what you want him to do who believes what you want him to believe and fill it with thoughts about gratitude, prosperity, and love.

Repeat this affirmation to your own self before going to sleep like a lullaby that’’ I am the master of my own fate and I will prosper in all fields. I am a pure soul and nobody has the key to my emotions”. Change your mentality and you will change your destiny.

Believe in your abilities and realize that you have the power to your own emotions. Nothing is impossible.  Every day is chance to get up from all your sorrows and restart with a new beginning. Don’t let anything hold you back not even your own insecurities.

Use this life to develop yourself and live it to the fullest with no regrets. It is difficult but just believe there is a reason why came into this world.  As being fully aware of oneself is the path to self-awareness that will lead you to the path of self-improvement.

You need to explore the wide possibilities you have. You cannot love anybody until and unless you love your own-self. Accept your own-self and stop discouraging yourself and work on your flaws. Turn you weakness into strength.

Realize that perfection is a state of illusion you will own-self. You need to go on like the water flows.
