Poem: DSYGRAPHIA

It’s not that I cannot write.

It is just extremely difficult to do so.

My hands sore holding a pen or pencil.

And how often is the need to erase.

No wonder I feel so tired writing.

Putting in all the my efforts,

I read aloud each word.

Yet my spellings often miss me.

They say my handwriting is illegal,

that the spacing and letters are inconsistent.

Says it’s a neurocognitive disorder.

But that is not all to me.

I have thoughts and feelings;

As wonderful as yours.

If you still can’t believe.

Do give Agatha Christie’s a read.

What do you think?
