A KEY TO AN EASE – ACCEPTANCE

A KEY TO AN EASE – ACCEPTANCE

We’re surrounded by a diverse population that remarks a variant perspective about things happening/exists in the environment.

People sometimes share common perspectives about some notions. Preferences, values, and opinions differ for all; thus, all of these are approved under the criteria called acceptance.

Acceptance is when any phenomenon matches our filters and parameters.

If we’re unable to accept certain phenomena then we end up being neglecting or sometimes being intolerant about so or act as a bystander only.

All it takes to accept something is agreement over terms of a basic phenomenon and no violation of basic norms a person follows.

With the ages, people around the sphere have expanded their scale of acceptance over everything.

Our ability to accept certain things happens to be shaped by experiences and the environment.

With the environment, we refer social factors to such as our social circle.

A social factor often gets us to manipulate our basic interests under the ode of societal norms, e.g., before the abolition of section 377, people were quite hesitant to accept LGBTQ values.

Self-acceptance is the basic domain of acceptance.

It happens on an individual level.

It refers to a situation when a person is aware of his positive traits and honest enough to count on negative traits too.

To assess whether a person has accepted oneself then one has to counter his insecurities supporting.

A person who can overcome his insecurities and fears and become vocal about it could be notified as self-accepted.

In order to boost self-acceptance in oneself, one can always set a practical intention for oneself which keeps a person to keep going.

One should celebrate one’s strength and sometimes shut the inner critic in case if it bothers anytime.

Performing acts of charity help in self-acceptance in a way as one could realize the scope of happiness another person from their small acts.

Avoiding comparison and judgments is the key to be self-accepted.

Be a part of a social circle that appreciates you and doesn’t give a sense of toxicity when around.

Talking about social acceptance, it is the phenomenon under which a person feels socially accepted and included within a circle and has to participate in value for his presence.

The privilege of being socially accepted includes a sense of accountability.

If such social circles pour criticism in a manner with no intention to harm anyone and devoid the existence of toxicity around, only then the social acceptance is a thing for someone.

If a person isn’t socially accepted then the person would be denoted as socially excluded.

People who face social exclusion are prone to poor mental health conditions.

People who’re socially excluded tend to be depressed.

People with social anxiety are most of the time are worried about not being socially accepted.

Social exclusion can also lead to emotional imbalances such as constant or episodic irritation and impulsive and aggressive reactions.

Emotional acceptance is an ability to be mindful enough to label our feelings and thought in an active moment.

Under emotional acceptance, one tends to avoid negative emotions such as anger, fear, anxiety, sadness, etc. which is often good if practised for short-term but could get serious if went on long-term affecting the health and mental health of oneself.

Talking about acceptance in general irrespective of any domain, it is what we can say doesn’t bother us much but what bothers us and couldn’t be accepted can turn problematic for people.

Intolerance could also be another word for such a scenario, as certain thing bothers us couldn’t be tolerated on our level.

Normally under such a situation, people have passive reactions which could be harming other person’s mindsets.

Disputes in our social setting do take place because of intolerance about anything. In India, the scenario of acceptance is quite progressive yet being agendised every time which creates chaos around.

People are realizing and accepting the existence of diversity, equal gender rights, and labelling wrong without any manipulation. Yet still revolving the agenda around acceptance in a social setting creates a ruckus.

It creates unrest and division of sides. Thus, people should opt the open-mindedness and a sense of acceptance for others who’re getting equalized rights after efforts and should be vocal enough to address what’s right and wrong.

Intervening and addressing ethnicity boosts confidence a grip over one’s cognition.

At last, acceptance is the key to run life on a peaceful note.

Either it is on an individual or social level, acceptance makes it easier to bother less and get concerned about oneself and our surroundings.
